Rebound Terms of Use

These Rebound Terms of Use ("Rebound Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Tigrate Technology L.L.C. ("Tigratech," "we," "us," or "our") and govern your access to and use of the Rebound mobile application and related services ("Rebound").

These Rebound Terms are Supplemental Terms under the Tigrate Tech Terms of Service. If the documents conflict regarding Rebound, these Rebound Terms control. By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using Rebound, you agree to these Rebound Terms and the Rebound Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility and adult-managed accounts

The Rebound Account Holder must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority where they live and must be capable of entering a binding agreement. An Account Holder may be a parent, legal guardian, or educator and may create learner profiles for learners they are authorized to support.

The Account Holder is responsible for the account, learner profiles, uploaded content, permissions supplied for learners, and activity under the account. Learners must use Rebound only with the Account Holder's involvement and permission. You must provide accurate information, keep credentials and pairing codes secure, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized use.

2. What Rebound provides

Rebound helps Account Holders scan educational work, organize results, view learning progress, and generate targeted practice. Features, supported subjects, limits, and availability may vary by plan, device, region, or product version.

3. AI-assisted results

Rebound uses automated systems and artificial intelligence to interpret uploaded work and generate analysis, classifications, explanations, and practice material. AI-assisted results can be incomplete, uncertain, or incorrect. Rebound is a study aid and is not a substitute for a teacher, tutor, curriculum requirement, professional evaluation, or the Account Holder's judgment.

You are responsible for reviewing results before relying on them. Important academic, placement, disciplinary, or other consequential decisions should not be based solely on Rebound's automated output.

4. Free access, subscriptions, and billing

Rebound may provide a free tier with feature, scan, learner, worksheet, or usage limits. Optional paid plans may provide higher limits or additional features. Current features, billing period, price, and any trial terms are displayed before purchase.

Payment is charged to the Apple ID used to confirm the purchase.
Auto-renewable subscriptions renew unless cancelled through Apple at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period, subject to Apple's applicable rules.
Renewal is charged to the Apple ID at the price shown by Apple for the next period.
Subscriptions can be viewed or cancelled through the device's Apple ID subscription settings. Deleting a Rebound account or app does not cancel an Apple subscription.
Restoring purchases requires the Apple ID associated with the original purchase.
Refund eligibility and processing are governed by Apple and applicable law.

Promotional access or redemption codes, when offered, may have separate eligibility, expiration, and usage limits. Codes have no cash value, may not be resold, and may be revoked if obtained or used fraudulently.

5. Your content

As between you and Tigratech, you retain ownership of educational work and other content you submit ("User Content"). You grant Tigratech a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, copy, transmit, process, adapt, and display User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and improve Rebound, comply with law, and enforce these Rebound Terms.

You represent that you have the rights and authority necessary to submit User Content and permit its processing, including where it relates to a learner. Do not upload content belonging to an unrelated person or content that infringes privacy, intellectual-property, contractual, or other rights.

6. Acceptable use

You may not:

Use Rebound for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or deceptive purposes.
Access or attempt to access another person's account, learner profile, scans, or results.
Share credentials or pairing codes with unauthorized persons.
Upload malware, unlawful content, or content you are not authorized to process.
Probe, disrupt, overload, scrape, or circumvent Rebound's systems, limits, or security controls.
Reverse engineer Rebound except to the limited extent applicable law expressly permits.
Use Rebound or its output to build or train a competing service without written permission.

7. Privacy

The Rebound Privacy Policy describes how we handle account holder, learner, uploaded, generated, diagnostic, and subscription information. By providing learner information, the Account Holder represents that they have authority to do so and to authorize the processing described in that policy.

8. Ownership of Rebound

Rebound, its software, interface, branding, designs, models, and non-user content are owned by Tigratech or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Rebound Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Rebound for its intended educational-support purpose.

9. Third-party services and Apple terms

Rebound depends on third-party services, including identity, AI, hosting, diagnostics, and subscription providers. Their availability and applicable terms may affect Rebound.

Your use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple's applicable App Store terms and standard end-user license terms. Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for Rebound. To the extent required by Apple's terms, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Rebound Terms and may enforce the applicable provisions against you.

10. Availability and changes

We may add, modify, limit, suspend, or discontinue features, supported subjects, plans, or Rebound itself. Scheduled and unscheduled interruptions may occur. We do not guarantee that Rebound will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Rebound at any time and may initiate account deletion in the app. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address violations, fraud, security risks, legal requirements, nonpayment, or material harm to Rebound or others. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination remain in effect.

12. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REBOUND AND ALL OUTPUT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. NOTHING IN THESE REBOUND TERMS EXCLUDES RIGHTS THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tigratech and its affiliates, officers, employees, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits, or opportunity arising from Rebound.

Our aggregate liability for claims relating to Rebound will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for Rebound during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or USD 100. These limitations apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

14. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Tigratech and its affiliates, officers, employees, licensors, and service providers from third-party claims arising from your User Content, misuse of Rebound, lack of authority to provide learner information, or violation of these Rebound Terms or applicable law.

15. Disputes and governing terms

The dispute-resolution, arbitration, class-action-waiver, governing-law, and venue provisions in Section 16 of the Tigrate Tech Terms of Service apply to these Rebound Terms, including the stated 30-day arbitration opt-out process, except where prohibited by applicable law.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these Rebound Terms as Rebound or applicable requirements change. We will post the updated terms with a revised date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after updated terms become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
